Job description

As a Loader in Khasab Oman you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of loading and unloading cargo from trucks and ships. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available open to Indian nationals and women.

Your main responsibilities

• Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes to load and unload cargo from trucks and ships
• Ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and balanced on the vehicle or vessel
• Keeping accurate records of all loaded and unloaded items
• Communicating with truck drivers ship crew and warehouse personnel to coordinate loading and unloading operations
• Following all safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage to cargo
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the loading area

To excel in this role you should have a strong work ethic excellent coordination skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience as a loader or in a similar position is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Valid work visa for Oman sponsorship available
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other heavy machinery
• Basic math skills for recording cargo weights and quantities
• Ability to follow safety protocols at all times
• Good communication skills in English Hindi or Arabic proficiency is a plus
