Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar is seeking a reliable Light Driver in Khasab, Oman to transport goods and/or passengers safely on a full-time basis. You will operate a light vehicle, perform basic checks, and maintain records while following dispatch guidance.

English fluency is required; Arabic is a plus. A Category 3 license and at least 2 years of experience are expected, with a good driving record and physical fitness for occasional lifting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for light vehicles (Category 3).
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Light Driver.
• Good knowledge of roads and routes in Khasab area.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if required.
• Excellent driving record with no traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods and/or passengers to their designated location in a timely manner.
• Perform regular maintenance on the vehicle such as checking oil levels, tire pressure and cleaning.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and incidents during transportation.
• Follow safety procedures for loading/unloading goods or assisting passengers in getting in/out of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to coordinate routes or report issues.

• - Follow safety procedures for loading and unloading goods or assisting passengers in getting inout of the vehicle
• - Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors to coordinate routes or report any issues that may arise

• - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Light Driver
• - Good knowledge of roads and routes in Khasab area
• - Fluent in English knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
