Wood is recruiting for Lead Project Engineers to join our team in Oman, Musandam site with refinery/downstream experience.
The Lead Project Engineer will oversee the planning, design, execution, and closeout of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and under budget. This role involves leading cross-disciplinary teams, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Lead Project Engineer will serve as the primary technical authority for the project.
Bachelor s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
8+ years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in managing large-scale projects in [industry/sector, e.g., oil & gas, construction].
