Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly experienced Electrical SME to lead electrical engineering on major bridge, highway, and interchanges projects in the GCC. You will act as technical authority, guide design reviews, coordinate with civil, ITS, and utilities, and ensure safety, sustainability, and operability of electrical systems from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering preferred.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent accreditation highly desirable.
• Membership of IEEE, IET, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead Electrical SME for the Client.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance to project teams.
• Review electrical deliverables, designs, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Coordinate design interfaces with civil, structural, mechanical, ITS, and utilities disciplines.
• Review ITPs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead testing, commissioning and handover activities.
