Job summary

Workato is seeking a Master Body Repair Technician in Muscat to repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition, including advanced bodywork painting and welding. The role requires handling various tools and delivering work that meets manufacturer standards and safety regulations.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of body repair experience, proficiency in welding, fabrication and painting, and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in body repair.
• Knowledge of advanced bodywork techniques including welding, fabricating and painting.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Biometric passport required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and create repair plans.
• Perform advanced bodywork including straightening frames, repairing dents and replacing panels.
• Weld and fabricate new body pieces as needed.
• Mix and match paint to match original color.
• Use various tools such as sanders, grinders and spray guns to complete repairs.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
• Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
