Work in USA is hiring a Land Surveyor Technician in Khasab, Oman. The role assists the lead surveyor with surveys, data collection, and mapping, with strong emphasis on accuracy and safety. Part-time position requiring a Bachelor's in Land Surveying and at least 2 years' experience.

Willing to work outdoors in varying weather, you will use total stations, GPS, and CAD tools, and maintain equipment while coordinating with clients and team members. Accommodation and company visa are provided.

Land Surveyor Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Technician to join our team in Khasab. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys and preparing accurate maps and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land surveying techniques and equipment, as well as excellent communication skills.

• Assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys using various tools and equipment
• Collect data and measurements from sites and input them into computer programs
• Help prepare accurate maps, reports, and drawings based on survey data
• Conduct research on previous surveys, property records, and other relevant information
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times while on site

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Land Surveyor Technician
• Proficient in using land surveying tools such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels
• Knowledge of CAD software for mapping and drawing purposes

Salary: 1600$ per month (part time)
