JobLeader is seeking a Land Surveyor to measure and define land boundaries using GPS, laser scanners, and total stations. You will collect data, analyze topography, and produce maps and reports for projects in Salalah, Oman.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Land Surveying or related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD/ArcGIS. Travel may be required and accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Land Surveying or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of surveying tools and equipment (GPS, laser scanners, total stations).
• Familiarity with mapping software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills; attention to detail.

Job Title: Land Surveyor

As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the process of determining and measuring land boundaries and features. Your main responsibility will be to collect and analyze data using specialized equipment, such as GPS and laser scanners, to create accurate maps and reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surveys are conducted and documented according to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys using various instruments, including GPS, laser scanners, and total stations
• Collect and analyze data to determine land boundaries, topography, and other features
• Create maps, charts, and reports based on survey results
• Ensure accuracy of survey data by conducting quality control checks
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate survey results for construction projects
• Maintain accurate records of all surveys conducted
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to land surveying

Requirements

Salary

Starting salary for this position is 1500$, with potential for growth based on performance. Accommodation will be provided.
