Job summary

SLS The Red Sea, part of Ennismore, is seeking a Kids Club Animator to energize activities for young guests and their families. You will lead engaging games, crafts, and stories, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment while delivering memorable holiday experiences.

The role requires fluent English, experience with children, and a positive, energetic approach in a fast-paced resort setting. First Aid or CPR certification is preferred or obtainable on request.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or related roles.
• Experience in hotel/resort childcare is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication is required.
• First Aid and Child CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
• Organized and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the Kids Club and ensure children are engaged, entertained, and supervised at all times.
• Welcome children and their families warmly and introduce them to Kids Club activities and programs.
• Lead and participate in activities such as arts & crafts, games, storytelling, music, movement, and creative play.
• Create fun and engaging experiences suited to different ages, group sizes, and interests.
• Support themed events, seasonal programs, celebrations, and special Kids Club activities.
• Prepare activity areas and ensure materials, toys, and equipment are ready before each session.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming Kids Club environment.
• Follow child check-in and check-out procedures and ensure children are released only to authorized guardians.
• Remain attentive to allergies, special requirements, and individual needs and communicate them appropriately.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and child safeguarding procedures.
• Work closely with the Kids Club Supervisor and team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Contribute creative ideas for new games, activities, and memorable experiences for young guests.

Working closely with the Kids Club team, you will lead engaging activities, connect naturally with children and families, and bring the playful spirit of SLS to every game, craft, story, and special moment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare, recreation, education, hospitality, entertainment, or a similar role involving children is preferred.
• Experience within a hotel, resort, Kids Club, school, nursery, or organized recreational environment is an advantage.
• Naturally friendly, energetic, patient, and comfortable engaging with children.
• Creative and confident in leading games, activities, and group entertainment.
• Strong awareness of child safety with the ability to balance fun and responsibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• First Aid and Child CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it as required.
• Organized, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to maintain positive energy in a fast-paced resort environment.
