Flyper in Muscat, Oman is seeking a Junior Merchandiser to support the senior merchandiser with product assortment planning, inventory management and data-driven buying decisions. The role requires English fluency, strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a merchandiser or similar role.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with retail buying processes and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pakistani nationality preferred.
• Valid visa for working in Oman.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior merchandiser with product assortment planning and purchasing decisions based on sales data and market trends.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and advise on restocking or clearance.
• Communicate with marketing, sales and operations to align product strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities.
• Support development of pricing strategies.
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices and pricing.
