Job summary

Dewan Consultants is seeking a Junior Chemical Plant Operator for a client based in Saudi Arabia. The role involves safely operating chemical processing and blending equipment, reactor operations, batch processing, and monitoring plant parameters per SOPs, batch sheets and QHSE standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Chemical Technology or Chemical Engineering, 3–5 years of hands-on reactor operation, and ability to read SOPs in English while adhering to QHSE policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Technology / Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in chemical processing plants, preferably with hands-on reactor operation.
• Good knowledge of chemical process control and equipment handling.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and batch sheets in English.
• Knowledge of QHSE standards and safe chemical handling.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, blending, formulation, or batch processing will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate reactors, blenders, vacuum pumps, centrifugal & gear pumps, thermal oil heaters, and cooling towers.
• Handle raw material charging, batch preparation, and reactor start-up/shutdown.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, flow, level, and reactor jacket T.
• Maintain daily plant parameter logs and production reports.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and Mechanical teams for quality and maintenance activities.
• Monitor heater loops, expansion vessels, reactor jackets, and equipment oil levels.
• Conduct shift-start safety toolbox meetings.
• Maintain chemical yard, IBCs, and production drums.
• Follow SOPs, QHSE policies, and safe chemical handling procedures.

Eligibility

Monthly Total: SAR 5200 5700.

( Basic Sr. 3000 to 3500 ( for 8 hrs.) + 25% Housing & 10% Transport allowance)
