Job summary

Aptus Infotech LLC in Muscat, Oman is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a strong educational background in finance or accounting, and excellent English communication skills.

You will record financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end closing. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and records.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and generate financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
