Job summary

UrbanLogic in Khasab, Oman, is seeking a Junior Accountant to support senior staff with daily tasks such as recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

We welcome fresh graduates and candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience who are eager to learn. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with accommodation provided.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks preferred.

Job description

We are a reputable accounting firm located in Khasab and we are currently hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team. This job is suitable for men and does not require English proficiency. We welcome candidates of Indian nationality who possess a biometric passport.

As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the senior accountants with daily tasks such as recording transactions, preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in accounting or finance and at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position. However we also welcome fresh graduates who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the field of accounting. Training will be provided for those without experience.

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm. Flexibility may be required during busy periods.
