Job Description
Purpose
To provide IT support to SDIC and perform routine functionalities of IT-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Strategic
- Assist in achieving SDIC's efficiency and effectiveness through development of Information Technology processes & policies.
- Ensure the accessibility of IT functions to all staff.
People- Perform routine administrative activities required of an Information Technology professional.
- Support the unit in completing tasks accurately on a daily basis.
- Seek support and guidance from the Head.
- Foster a culture of team spirit, cooperation, and continuous self-development within the unit.
Operational- Provide prompt support to staff for IT-related requirements.
- Assist staff in overcoming daily IT technical issues.
- Set up and troubleshoot phones, computers, printers, access control, and scanners.
- Maintain system inventory and software library.
- Set up new users’ accounts, computers, smartphones, and access cards.
- Implement Windows and other software installations as per operational requirements.
- Conduct IT induction for new staff.
- Maintain Access and Attendance systems.
- Support SDIC’s project site offices as required.
Related Assignments- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the department head.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent.
