Job summary

Case In Point Consulting is seeking an Investment Associate to originate, evaluate, structure and execute investment transactions across Oman Food Capital's target sectors, with a strong focus on agriculture and its adjacent value chains.

The role requires rigorous quantitative skills from investment banking or private equity, with the judgment to assess strategic and operational fit across M&A and greenfield/brownfield opportunities; you will work with senior deal leads and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Proven strength in financial modelling and valuation.
• Experience with deal execution and M&A processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support financial modelling and valuation for prospective transactions (DCF, comps, precedent, LBO).
• Originate and screen investment opportunities and maintain a live deal pipeline.
• Coordinate end-to-end deal execution, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing.
• Prepare investment memoranda and materials for board or committee review.
• Conduct sector research and benchmarking across agriculture and related value chains.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, GRC, ESG and external advisers throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Track portfolio performance against value-creation plans.

The Investment Associate will play a hands-on role in originating evaluating structuring and executing investment transactions across Oman Food Capital s target sectors with a strong focus on agriculture and its adjacent value chains The role requires a rigorous quantitative skill set built in investment banking and or private equity combined with the judgment to assess strategic and operational fit across M amp A greenfield and brownfield opportunities The Associate will work closely with senior deal leads and cross-functional teams Finance Legal GRC ICV amp ESG to move transactions from sourcing through to execution and post-close monitoring

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support financial modelling and valuation for prospective transactions including DCF comparable company precedent transaction and LBO-style analyses Originate and screen investment opportunities across M amp A greenfield and brownfield formats building and maintaining a live deal pipeline Support end-to-end deal execution due diligence coordination deal structuring negotiation support and closing documentation Prepare investment memoranda business cases and board- or committee-level materials to support investment decisions Conduct sector research and competitive benchmarking across agriculture cold-chain logistics and consumer FMCG B2C segments Coordinate with internal stakeholders Finance Legal GRC ICV amp ESG and external advisors banks consultants legal counsel throughout the deal lifecycle Track portfolio and post-investment performance against investment theses and value-creation plans Contribute to the continuous refinement of investment frameworks valuation templates and screening criteria

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Proven experience in investment banking
• Demonstrated strength in financial modelling and valuation
• Strong experience in deal execution
• Prior exposure to the agriculture industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Private equity experience is highly recommended, ideally spanning M&A, sourcing and origination, deal structuring, and execution end-to-end
• Background in logistics/cold-chain or consumer sectors (FMCG/B2C)
• Consulting experience
• MBA and/or CFA

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including committee-level reporting
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
