Job Title: Instrumentation Sales Engineer

We are a leading provider of engineering solutions and services in the oil and gas sector, Power, Water, Mining, Manufacturing and other Industrial Sectors in Oman. Operating in Oman and collaborating with International agencies to deliver innovative products and services to our clients across various industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for instrumentation products (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level sensors, analyzers, control systems, etc.).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industries such as oil & gas, chemical, power, water treatment, food & beverage, and manufacturing.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients and consultants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product selection guidance, and after-sales support.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders in coordination with the internal technical and commercial teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline forecasts using CRM tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in technical sales of industrial instrumentation or automation products.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial process control and measurement technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; familiarity with ERP is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Experience working with major instrumentation brands (e.g., Yokogawa, Emerson, ABB, Endress+Hauser, Siemens, etc.).
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g., ATEX, IECEx, SIL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of automation systems like PLCs, SCADA, and DCS is an advantage.
