Job summary

Prysmian is looking for a Finance professional to support the Head – Accounting & Reporting in ensuring departmental compliance with accounting policies. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable, preparing financial statements as per IFRS, and facilitating audits.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting along with 5+ years of experience in a large manufacturing company. Strong accounting skills, especially in IFRS, and familiarity with accounting software like SAP are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance department of any large, listed manufacturing company.
• Ability to mentor junior accountants.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the accounting function of the department by monitoring accounts payable and payroll.
• Prepare P&L accounts and balance sheet for OCI & Group.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and government regulations.

Skills

Accounting skills (Accounting standards like IFRS)

General Ledger Management

Preparation of accounts as per IFRS

Consolidation of accounts

MSX reporting in XBRL

Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)

Good knowledge of accounting software like SAP

Computer skills MS Office (especially MS Excel)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Semi qualified ACCA/Chartered/Cost Accountants
