Job summary

Sisco is hiring an HVAC Technician for Oman to install, service, and repair central and local air‑conditioning systems. The role requires hands‑on experience with central HVAC and the ability to diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure reliable cooling performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in HVAC or related field, with knowledge of compressors, motors, thermostats, and control systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with central air‑conditioning systems is mandatory.
• Experience in installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of split, window, package and central AC systems is required.
• Familiarity with compressors, motors and thermostats is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Diagnose faults independently and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various AC systems (split, window, package, central).
• Inspect compressors, motors, thermostats, and control components.
• Maintain central air‑conditioning systems for reliable cooling performance.
• Test equipment after service to verify proper operation.
• Identify defective components and recommend repairs or replacements.
