Job summary

You will monitor site activities, conduct inspections and risk assessments, deliver training, investigate incidents, and maintain HSE documentation. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field, 3+ years in HSE, and certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a relevant field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of local Oman safety regulations is preferred.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and international standards.
• Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports accurately.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe work practices.
• Monitor use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
