About the job

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean, well-stocked section, ensuring cleanliness in guest rooms, floors, and hallways. They ensure that all guestroom standards regarding setup and cleanliness are consistently maintained at a high level, following Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group policies and procedures.

The supervisor also resolves colleagues' needs and fosters a climate of mutual respect and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Quality Assurance towards MOHG standards.
• Allocate and coordinate teams in early and late shifts.
• Ensure smooth floor operations and impeccable guest rooms with attention to detail.
• Inspect guest rooms and suites.
• Provide regular training to the team.
• Manage cleanliness of storage areas.
• Handle guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
• Review processes and suggest improvements.
• Supervise laundry and pressing services.
• Complete relevant administrative tasks.
• Participate in projects and special assignments.
• Conduct team briefings and meetings.
• Manage flower ordering and purchasing requests.
