Job summary

Chedi Hospitality seeks a Chief Accountant to oversee day-to-day hotel accounting, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain strong internal controls in alignment with group policies. You will supervise the accounting team, coordinate month-end/year-end closes, manage payables/receivables, revenue audits, budgeting, and assist the Director of Finance to deliver reliable management reports.

Qualifications

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate postings.
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review journals, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and schedules.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities and vendor/customer accounts.
• Oversee income audit, revenue control, and reconciliation of PMS/POS data.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; monitor variances.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance with policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate inventory/cost control with relevant departments.
• Collaborate with HR/Payroll for payroll accounting and confidentiality.
