Job summary

ARK People Solutions is seeking a Technical Asset Manager for Oman to oversee maintenance, facilities operations, and lifecycle planning across hotel assets. You will coordinate with hotel operators, General Managers, engineering teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure assets are well maintained, compliant, cost-conscious, and aligned with ownership objectives.

The role covers CAPEX planning, Property Improvement Plans, asset condition reviews, and smooth handovers during renovations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6–10 years in hotel engineering, asset management, or facilities management roles.
• Experience with CAPEX planning, Property Improvement Plans, and asset condition reviews.
• Strong project, supplier, and stakeholder management experience.
• Certifications such as PMP/CFM/FMP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel CAPEX plans and Property Improvement Plans with operators and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and asset condition reviews to identify risks and improvements.
• Develop lifecycle maintenance plans to extend asset life and reduce reactive work.
• Review budgets for OPEX, CAPEX, renovations to ensure control and alignment.
• Track CAPEX, renovation works, timelines, scope, and quality against plans.
• Coordinate with GMs, operators, engineers, consultants, and contractors on projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, brand, and asset standards during operations and transitions.
• Monitor performance, cost drivers, and action plans for asset improvements.
• Ensure regulatory, HSE, and internal policy compliance across activities.
• Prepare regular technical asset reports and progress updates.
