Job summary

A government entity in Oman seeks an experienced AI expert to lead teams in designing and implementing AI solutions. The role requires over six years in AI/ML development, managing projects from proof of concept to deployment, and compliance with AI ethics and data governance. Candidates should hold a degree in a relevant field and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with government sector needs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering AI solutions at scale.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP (preferably Arabic), and AI product management.
• Experience working within or with government entities is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data governance, cybersecurity, and AI ethics frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists and AI engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions.
• Translate business needs and operational challenges into actionable AI use cases with defined KPIs and measurable impact.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects, from proof of concept (PoC) to production deployment.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and AI ethics standards and regulations.
