Job summary

Industrial Minerals Company (SFZ) LLC is seeking Machine Operators to manage a gypsum board production line. You will monitor automated equipment, feed raw materials, and adjust process parameters to maintain product quality and smooth operation during your shift.

The role requires adherence to safety rules, routine monitoring of kiln and dryer parameters, and proactive problem solving to minimize scrap. Prior experience in industrial manufacturing and familiarity with HMI systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree/high school with cert in industrial automation or process operations.
• Apprenticeship in industrial operations preferred.
• 1–5 years in industrial manufacturing or handling heavy production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate gypsum board manufacturing line safely and efficiently during assigned shift.
• Monitor automated machinery, feed raw materials, adjust formulations, and manage kiln parameters.
• Maintain quality targets (minimum 97% good boards, max 3% rejection) and document results.
• Coordinate via plant signals to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Lead cross-training and report anomalies while following strict safety rules.
