Job summary

Sold Out is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our Operations team in Takara Hospitality Group. You will process orders and payments at the POS, assist guests, and maintain accurate transaction records while delivering excellent service.

The role requires a high school diploma, cash-handling skills, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and career growth opportunities are provided in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and team-player mentality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, promotions, and orders.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Follow company cash handling procedures and operational standards.
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods as required.
