Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Care for plants in the growth facility.
• Prepare soil for experiments and apply appropriate fertilizers.
• Daily inspection of growth chambers and report pest/disease issues.
• Collect and transport transgenic waste to greenhouse and assist in decontamination of soil and tools.
• Sterilize growth chambers after each experiment.
• Assist in growth facility maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure project work has proper approvals and safety trainings.
• Assist in facility assets, inventory management and replacement planning.
• Record inventory of supplies and assist in procurement.
