Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Oman is hiring a Fresh Graduate Engineer to join our team on a site-based railway project. You will assist senior engineers with installation, testing, and commissioning activities, supporting surveys and technical assessments, and help prepare documentation.

Ideal candidates are fresh graduates with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, fluent in English, and willing to relocate to Sohar or Al Buraimi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of professional experience.
• Willing to relocate to Sohar or Al Buraimi, Oman.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willing to work on project sites and participate in installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with project procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities across assigned railway project activities.
• Support site surveys, inspections, measurements, and technical assessments as required.
• Assist with troubleshooting activities and support the identification and resolution of technical issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, installation records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation procedures.
• Follow approved project procedures, HSE requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards during all site activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other project teams to complete assigned activities effectively and on schedule.
• Participate in site meetings, technical discussions, and project activities to gain practical knowledge of railway engineering and project execution.
• Apply engineering principles and develop practical knowledge of railway signalling and infrastructure systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
