• Bachelor/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, and fire protection systems.
• Experience with VFD pumps and advanced troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with international mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety standards.
• Ability to work in live, occupied environments with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain building mechanical services including plumbing, hot water, drainage, and water distribution.
• Operate and troubleshoot VFD booster pumps and centralized hot water systems (solar, heat pump, gas boilers).
• Maintain Water Treatment Plants (RO, softeners, UV) for potable water quality.
• Ensure silent operation and limit noise in VIP areas.
• Maintain water features and wellness systems (pools, spas, fountains, water walls).
• Test and maintain fire protection systems (sprinklers, pre-action).
• Control condensation, insulation integrity with approved materials.
• Perform non-intrusive diagnostics using thermal imaging and testing tools.
• Plan preventive maintenance discreetly to avoid disruption.
• Coordinate with facility operations for live environment activities.
• Comply with international mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety standards.

Job description

Job Purpose The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of all mechanical, plumbing, water treatment, and fire protection systems within a high-end VIP facility. The role requires ensuring uninterrupted performance of complex building systems while maintaining strict discretion, minimal disruption, and adherence to premium operational standards in a live, occupied environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all building mechanical services, including plumbing, hot water systems, drainage, and water distribution, ensuring reliable performance with stable pressure, instant hot water delivery, and silent operation.
• Operate and troubleshoot VFD booster pump systems and centralized hot water systems (solar, heat pump, and gas boilers) with circulation loops to ensure continuous and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain Water Treatment Plants (RO, softeners, UV systems) to ensure safe, high-quality potable water standards across the facility.
• Ensure optimal performance of acoustic/silent drainage systems and prevent noise transmission in sensitive and VIP areas.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize all water features and wellness systems, including infinity pools, jacuzzis, spas, fountains, and water walls, along with associated pumps, filtration, and chemical dosing systems.
• Ensure all water systems operate leak‑free and safe, with full protection of architectural finishes, interiors, and luxury installations.
• Maintain and test fire protection systems, including sprinkler networks, pre‑action systems, ensuring full readiness and compliance.
• Implement strict control of condensation, leakage, and insulation integrity, using approved insulation methods (e.g., closed‑cell elastomeric insulation such as Armaflex).
• Carry out non‑intrusive diagnostics using thermal imaging and advanced testing tools to detect faults without damaging finishes or disrupting interiors.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities discreetly, ensuring zero disruption, minimal noise, and full alignment with VIP occupancy schedules.
• Coordinate all maintenance activities with facility operations teams to ensure smooth execution in live, occupied environments.
• Ensure full compliance with international mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety standards in all systems and maintenance practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 7 years of proven experience in luxury residential buildings, VIP facilities, palaces, 5-star hotels, or high-end commercial complexes.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC integration, water treatment plants, and fire protection systems.
• Experience with VFD pump systems and advanced mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with international mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety standards and codes.
• Ability to work in live, occupied environments with strong attention to detail, discretion, and professional conduct.
• Handling Mechanical Maintenance team.
• Preparing Reports & knowledge in CMMS system.
