Job summary

Alila Hinu Bay seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead luxury F&B operations in Oman. You will drive service standards, manage budgets, and develop a high-performing team across outlets. Responsibilities include annual planning for all F&B outlets, cost control, and ensuring guest value while upholding the hotel’s brand.

Fluency in English and strong leadership are essential. You will collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Food & Beverage management role.
• Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards and F&B operations.
• Proven track record of increasing F&B sales and profitability.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual business plan for all F&B outlets.
• Monitor the outlets' budget and implement corrective actions.
• Control costs while ensuring guests get value for money.

Budgeting and Finance

• Prepare the annual business plan for all F&B outlets.
• Monitor the outlets’ budget and proactively implement corrective action where necessary.

• Conduct regular brief, concise, well prepared departmental meetings and ensure follow-up.

Technical Expertise

• Plan and recommend replacement of FF&E and OE in accordance with needs and available budget.
• Attain the highest banquet yield achievable.
• Ensure the correct implementation of all cash-handling procedures in the departments under your supervision.
• Ensure banquet, buffet set-up and banquet function themes are creative and in accordance with the hotel’s image.
• Constantly seek to profit engineer by monitoring cost of sales and implementing revenues‑increasing products/programs activities.
• Work together with Marketing Communications to achieve high impact exposure of the hotel’s F&B facilities in the market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Food & Beverage management role, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale hospitality environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards and Food & Beverage operations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of increasing F&B sales and profitability.
• Proficiency in F&B management systems, POS systems, and other relevant hospitality software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly presentable, professional, and guest-focused.
• Outgoing and energetic personality with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
