Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation supervisor for offshore projects in Oman. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation with around 8 years of experience on large offshore decks, topsides, and living quarters, in a supervisory role.

They must be adept at coordinating multinational teams and applying project execution procedures, field management techniques, and safety criteria across fabrication, transport, installation,

Qualifications*

Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

8 years experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in a E&IT supervisory position
Experience with multinational teams
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding,lifting, mechanical testing and completions.

Technical and Business Skills:-

Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport,installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to
the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities,or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
