Job summary

Mekdam Holding Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent (Piping) in Oman, Schamal al-Batina. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience with offshore piping systems and a proven ability to handle site challenges effectively.

This role requires strong knowledge of construction safety and industry standards. Applicants should also demonstrate experience in collaborating with multinational teams and have specific knowledge in piping completions, including line walks and hydrotesting.

Qualifications*DiplomaKnowledge and/or Experience*

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

8 years' experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in a Piping supervisory position
Experience with multinational teams
Experience of exotic, GRE and carbon steel piping systems
Good working knowledge and understanding of industry standard work practices and codes/standards.
Experience of spool fabrication and installation.
Experience of piping completions – line walks, hydrotesting, flushing/drying, re-instatement and flange management
CRA clad piping experience

Technical and Business Skills:-

Ability to handle site problems
Excellent track records in construction safety results
Good communication skills
Familiar with design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
