Job summary

AJYAL HR Solutions & Services seeks a senior OSS specialist to lead architecture, integration, automation, and continuous improvement of the OSS ecosystem. You will ensure reliable monitoring, visualization and data management across multi-vendor platforms to support scalable telecom operations.

The role covers platform administration, network data integrity, automation, and leadership of engineering teams, with focus on proactive performance improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, CS or related field.
• Professional certifications in Linux, Kubernetes, Red Hat, Python, Cloud, DevOps, Cisco or OSS tech are advantageous.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in OSS platforms, telecom systems or NMS/EMS.
• Proven experience with multi-vendor OSS environments, automation and scripting.
• Experience delivering carrier-grade OSS solutions in telecom or service provider settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead OSS Platform Architecture & Administration, managing the Cygnet OSS Platform and related apps.
• Ensure scalability, availability and resilience; oversee upgrades and migrations.
• Handle OSS Integration with multi-vendor NMS/EMS and onboard new network domains.
• Develop automation using Python, Shell, and SQL; build reusable frameworks.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and alerting policies; implement telemetry and analytics.
• Operate Linux-based OSS and containerized platforms; support Kubernetes, Docker, and virtualization.
• Provide technical leadership; conduct root cause analysis and mentor engineers.
• Evaluate OSS technologies; adopt open-source solutions and define best practices.

Job Summary: Lead the design, integration, automation, and continuous improvement of the OSS ecosystem. Ensure reliable monitoring and visualization of network alarms, performance, service assurance, and inventory across multi-vendor platforms while driving scalable, resilient, and highly available telecommunications operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

OSS Platform Architecture & Administration

• Manage the Cygnet OSS Platform and related applications.
• Ensure platform scalability, availability and resilience.
• Lead upgrades, patching and migrations.
• Maintain accurate network and configuration data.
• Keep technical documentation and procedures updated.

OSS Integration & Network Data Management

• Manage integrations with multi-vendor NMS and EMS platforms.
• Onboard new network domains into the OSS environment.
• Ensure accurate synchronization of alarms, inventory and performance data.
• Develop and maintain API integrations.
• Validate service assurance, alarm correlation and performance processes.

Automation & Platform Development

• Develop automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting and SQL.
• Build reusable frameworks that reduce manual work.
• Maintain OSS applications and operational tools.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards.
• Improve OSS workflows through scripting and orchestration.

Network Monitoring & Observability

• Manage network monitoring, logging and observability platforms.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and alerting policies.
• Implement telemetry, event correlation and performance analytics.
• Proactively monitor OSS applications and network infrastructure.
• Recommend improvements to service availability and performance.

Infrastructure Engineering & Platform Optimization

• Manage Linux-based OSS and containerized platforms.
• Support Kubernetes, Docker and virtualization technologies.
• Design and optimize databases for OSS applications.
• Integrate OSS with infrastructure management solutions.
• Improve system reliability, scalability and performance.

Operational Support & Technical Leadership

• Resolve complex OSS incidents and technical issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Guide and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with operational teams on platform enhancements.
• Support major incidents and service restoration.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate and adopt relevant emerging OSS technologies.
• Integrate suitable open-source solutions.
• Improve automation, monitoring and operational efficiency.
• Develop technical standards and engineering best practices.
• Support strategic initiatives for operational platform development.

• Proven experience supporting multi-vendor OSS environments, automation, Linux, scripting, and OSS platform integration.
• Experience delivering carrier-grade OSS solutions within telecommunications or service provider environments.
