Job summary

EcoFarm Solutions in Salalah is seeking an experienced Handyman to perform maintenance and repair tasks for clients, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and painting. This is a full-time onsite role.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Handyman experience, strong technical skills, ability to read technical manuals and drawings, good English, and physical fitness. We offer health insurance and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on handyman experience.
• Proficient in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and painting.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Good communication in English; Malayalam or Filipino speakers also considered.
• Biometric passport required if not Omani.
• Physically fit for manual labor and willing to work weekends.
• Full-time onsite role in Salalah, Oman.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaky faucets.
• Repair or replace damaged parts and install new fixtures or appliances.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of work and materials used.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Available to work full-time including weekends if needed.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Handyman to join our team in Salalah. As a Handyman you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for our clients. This includes but is not limited to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting and general handyman services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess strong technical skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets and repairing minor electrical issues
• Conduct repairs or replacements of damaged or worn out parts
• Install new fixtures or appliances as needed
• Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety standards
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide satisfactory solutions
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Handyman or in a similar role
• Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting etc
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
• Good communication skills in English, Malayalees or Filipinos preferred
• Biometric passport required if not Omani national
• Physically fit to perform manual labor tasks
