Job summary

JobCenter in Muscat is seeking a Junior Surveyor for an entry-level position. Accommodation is provided, and no prior surveying experience is required as on-the-job training will be given. You must have your own visa to work in Muscat.

You will assist senior surveyors, perform field measurements using GPS and total stations, and help prepare survey reports while learning essential surveying techniques in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with coursework in mathematics or engineering.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of land surveying principles is a plus.
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and other surveying tools is preferred.
• Good physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively.
• Must have own visa for employment in Muscat.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors with data collection and measurements on various projects.
• Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other equipment.
• Record accurate data and assist with the preparation of survey reports.
• Perform basic calculations and analysis of survey data.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure they are in good working condition.
