Job summary

Work corp is seeking a Junior Surveyor to conduct field surveys and collect data under supervision in Muscat, Oman. You will support senior surveyors by taking measurements, recording findings, and preparing survey records for review.

The role is entry-level, requiring strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in surveying or related field preferred but not required.
• Good physical fitness for walking long distances, carrying equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
• Proficient computer skills for data recording and analysis.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors with conducting surveys using total stations, GPS equipment, and other tools.
• Take accurate measurements of land features, structures, and other objects.
• Record data in a timely manner using computer software or handwritten notes.
• Participate in setting up survey equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
• Maintain organized records of all collected data.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on site.
