Job summary

The FAENA Movement in Oman seeks a skilled Engineering Supervisor to manage hotel maintenance operations and lead the Engineering team. You will coordinate maintenance tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety and quality across guest and back-of-house areas.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering and have prior supervisory experience in hospitality maintenance, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in Engineering or Maintenance within the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Engineering team.
• Assign maintenance tasks and monitor their completion to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, back-of-house areas, plant rooms, equipment, and hotel facilities.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are carried out according to established schedules.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, operational issues, and emergency situations.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and support the team in identifying effective solutions.
• Monitor the condition and operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Ensure all engineering work is performed in accordance with safety procedures, hotel standards, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment servicing.
