Job description

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Performs the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
• Advises immediate superiors on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Places conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working under Maintenance Department and reports directly to the Foreman/Supervisor.
• Performs all duties according to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Adheres to company's Quality, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
• Adheres to company's HR Policies and Procedures.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years experience in the electrical field.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Analyzing of technical data, designs, or specifications.

• Usage of a variety of tools and electrical equipment.
