Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Electrical Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of:

• Assisting in training, supervising, scheduling, motivating, and positively disciplining engineering staff.
• Planning and implementing procedures, systems, and controls to ensure an efficient, timely, and proactive engineering department.
• Compiling monthly consumption reports on heat, light, power, electricity, gas, steam, and water.
• Monitoring staff activity, productivity, utilization rates, and managing accordingly.
• Informing the Engineering Manager of downtime or delays in task completion.
• Managing the team’s daily duties and job assignments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in all working areas.
• Using personal safety equipment at all times during duty.
• Upholding Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhering to LQA standards and guest feedback.

Qualifications

To succeed as Electrical Supervisor, I must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience, including:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, or apprenticeship in electrical disciplines, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar luxury hotel setting.
• Technical skills such as project analysis and design, and comprehensive knowledge of engineering-related products and services used in resorts. Ability to interpret geometric patterns and numerical data accurately.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, and willingness to live in remote locations for extended periods and travel on single status.
