Hiring - Electrical & Instrumentation Lead

Professional Experience: Experience in Operational Maintenance Execution and Development within an LNG or Oil and Gas context.

Experience in similar position (years): +15 years’ experience in instrumentation, metering, and systems (PLC, ICSS, Safety control systems) and 8 years in field operations. Experience in projects is a plus. Skilled in resource control, contract management, and general management.

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for all MIE (Maintenance and Inspection Engineering) deliverables within his own field of expertise.
2. Ensure the preparation of complex site maintenance procedures including testing of HIPS, Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF), black start, electrical switching procedures prepared by site supervision, ensuring incorporation of best practices.
3. Develop technical Scopes of Work and participate in the preparation of tenders. Ensure all SMCs (Safety Management Cases) for Electrical, Instrumentation, and ICSS are in place before start-up.
4. Participate in defining the maintenance organization for E&I / HVAC and ICSS required during the operation phase.
5. Technically lead the MIE development process with respect to Electrical, Instrument, and ICSS. Provide detailed input and contribute to the overall MIE strategy for maintenance and spare parts, and support detailed maintenance requirements of equipment.
6. Assist in project pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
7. Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs, provide technical input, and optimize systems for efficiency and reliability.
8. Work with procurement teams to source materials/equipment and instrumentation components required for the project and operation.
9. Ensure implementation of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) in his field.
