1. Must have at least 7-8 years of experience in API machine shop operations (manufacturing/servicing API products).
2. Must be a qualified ISO 9001:2015 Lead/Internal Auditor or an API Q1 Practitioner.
3. Must have experience facing API audits as a MR in the previous company.
4. Must have comprehensive product knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, API 7-1, API 4F, API 5CT.
5. Must hold ASNT Level 2 or Level 3 certification, CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2, or equivalent; B Gas certification is optional.
6. Experience in API machine shop operations including new manufacturing, repair, maintenance, valve and BOP shop, and ASME welding shop.

Job Description

1. Expertise in QMS documentation.
2. Utilize extensive API threading experience to ensure compliance with API standards, including API 7-1, 5B, 5CT during manufacturing and repair processes.
3. Expertise in API Q1 requirements.
4. Conduct inspections and audits of manufacturing operations, including machining, threading, and gauging, to verify compliance with API specifications.
5. Implement and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions specific to API threads and special processes.
6. Ensure compliance with API 6A and 16A standards during dismantling, manufacturing, repair, and assembly of products.
7. Inspect valve components and assemblies, including dimensional checks, functional tests, and material verification, to ensure API compliance.
8. Apply ASME welding and fabrication experience to ensure adherence to ASME welding codes, especially ASME Section IX.
9. Perform inspections and testing on welded structures, including dimensional, visual, and NDT inspections.
10. Review welding procedures, qualifications, and inspection/test plans per ASME codes.
11. Implement and maintain quality management systems, specifically API Q1 and ISO 9001, for compliance and continuous improvement.
12. Support internal audits, management reviews, and process inspections to ensure adherence to API Q1 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

1. B.Eng or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
2. ASNT Level 2 or Level 3 certification.

Package

• Salary: RO 450 - RO 800 per month, depending on qualification and experience.
