The role is responsible for leading and executing investment activities across both private and public markets. The Manager will focus on designing fund strategies, building the deal pipeline, evaluating opportunities, and driving transactions to financial close. The Manager will also play a key role in launching new investment products and funds aimed at internal and third-party capital deployment, aligned with TANMIA's strategic objectives.
Proactively source, evaluate, and lead direct private transactions, fund concept design, and launch.
Support capital raising initiatives for new products by preparing fund documentation, teasers, and investor presentations.
Conduct feasibility assessments including market research, strategic analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation across asset classes.
Lead full-cycle investment execution including due diligence, internal approvals, negotiations, and closing processes.
Assist in various aspects of portfolio management and deal execution including value creation plans, structuring, contract negotiations, growth projects, IPO readiness, legal, commercial & financial due diligence, and liaising with shareholders, lawyers, and banks.
Lead the design, structuring, and operationalization of investment products and funds, including co-investment vehicles, SMAs, pooled funds, and sector-specific strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with unitholders, co-investors, potential investors, legal advisors, banks, brokers, and placement agents.
Generate investment memorandums, board papers, and periodic pipeline updates.
Track macroeconomic trends, capital markets activity, sectoral shifts, and regulatory developments impacting investment decisions.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal capability-building through playbooks, tools, and templates.
Support ongoing refinement of the firm's investment strategy, asset allocation, and pipeline development frameworks.
Support the continuous improvement of the corporate governance framework within TANMIA and its investee companies.
Carry out other related duties as required.
Strong capability in both private equity and public market investing.
Deep understanding of fund structures, investment vehicles, and product development.
Proficiency in building and reviewing financial models, valuations, and deal structures.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing investment products and funds (local and international).
Sound business judgment, problem-solving, and commercial instincts.
Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders and investors.
Strategic thinking and commercial acumen with attention to detail.
High integrity, work ethic, and ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Demonstrated project and deal management skills.
Minimum 6 years of experience in asset management, private equity, investment banking, or a relevant field.
Proven track record of deal execution and portfolio value creation across asset classes.
Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree in Finance, CFA, CAIA, or relevant professional certification is preferable.
