Job description

Education to HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Minimum 15 years’ experience in a QA/QC role in the Oil and Gas Industry or fabrication yards, of which 7 years shall have covered all aspects of LNG engineering and construction disciplines.

A recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification.

Certification welding inspector / NDT would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

Coordinating all the QA and QC activities during the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning and Installation phases carried out by Contractor, Subcontractors and Project team.

Shall monitor, instruct, correct, and report the working practices of Contractor as necessary.

Shall liaise actively with the Project Quality Manager and Package Managers.

Reports to the Project Quality Manager, highlighting concerns encountered during the performance

of his duties.

Accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour regarding HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSSE rules within his area of responsibility.
