Job description

We are looking for a Project / Interface Engineer with the following details :

Location: Sohar, OMAN

Duration: 12 months, renewable

Work Status: Residential, 5 days per week

Start date: June 2025

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

• Languages: English and French (mandatory)
• Professional Experience (years): 10
• Experience in similar position (years): 4/5
• Education Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent

MISSIONS

• The service holder's overall responsibility is to ensure that all interfaces in engineering, construction, and commissioning are timely coordinated, planned, and managed between the Sohar Package and other Packages or stakeholders.

The service holder is accountable for:

• Interfaces to be addressed timely to prevent the risk of delay, at the project level and package level
• Apply pro-active, constructive, and cooperative work environment between involved parties and disciplines
• Comply with the project governance, general rules, and requirements (operational safety, administrative rules, code of conduct, etc.)
• Commitment to safety and environmental aspects of major construction projects.

In addition, the Project/Interface Engineer shall contribute to Interface Management by:

• Complying with the project HSE plan and the sustainability roadmap,
• Ensuring that the required level of security related to confidentiality and intellectual property is maintained throughout the project and engineering activities execution,
• Participating in project and shareholders' internal and external reviews and audits.
