Job description

Key Deliverables:

Ensure the operation of processes and equipment within the defined scope of work. Maintain good housekeeping in the plant.

• Use appropriate PPE and ensure proper usage.
• Ensure all equipment is properly guarded and safe for operation.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear safety equipment at all times.
• Be familiar with the company's IMS policy.
• Identify and mitigate risks to prevent accidents.
• Support the Injaz program.
• Transfer to other departments as needed.
• Follow safety, quality system procedures, and maintain workplace housekeeping as per OAPIL IMS and HSE standards.
• Perform any related tasks assigned by the direct line supervisor in the process operation area.
• The Assistant Operator reports directly to the shift supervisor.

Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance, safety, and other interfacing roles.

• Management/Team leader/Line supervisor may assign any related tasks to enhance operating skills and may transfer you to other departments to develop multitasking abilities.

Relationships (Internal):

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
• Monitor fire and safety in coordination with the HSE department.
• Meet attendance policy requirements.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or High School diploma with experience in a manufacturing company.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Knowledge of plant machinery and skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English communication.
• Relationship management skills.

Experience:

• Diploma or High School diploma with experience in manufacturing.
