Key Accountability:
  1. Manage and direct construction team by providing communication, coordination, and follow-up to meet project goals and objectives.
  2. Manage and monitor construction progress through regular meetings, site walkthroughs, and inspections to ensure alignment with the construction schedule.
  3. Ensure activities are performed in accordance with established Company Quality procedures, HSE Codes and standards, and recognized industry standards.
  4. Manage and oversee output from detailed design through commissioning and start-up, ensuring project scope and schedule are clearly defined.
  5. Review and approve all construction-related documents, drawings, method statements, plans, procedures, etc., and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope.
  6. Report project status and concerns to Company Management regularly, resolve construction issues, and monitor contractor performance.
  7. Interface with other Company departments such as Engineering, QA/QC, HSSE, Commissioning, and Operations.
  8. Verify completion of milestone activities to facilitate payment certifications.
  9. Participate in all necessary project meetings internally and with contractors.
  10. Ensure constructability, assembly, and utilization of construction techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
  11. Manage mechanical completion and ensure timely project handover to meet delivery milestones.
  12. Develop the Omani construction team through on-the-job training and active participation in their development plans.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related field. Experience required: 10-15 years.
