JOB TITLE

Commercial Manager - Light Household and Textile | MAF Retail | Head Office Oman

ROLE SUMMARY

The Commercial Manager (LHH&TXT) is responsible for coordinating with buyers and supporting purchases for MAF Retail. The role also involves assisting with product selection and examination for store shelves, catalogues, and online platforms.

ROLE PROFILE

  1. Implement effective sourcing strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  2. Research and review new products to meet company goals.
  3. Source high-quality products at competitive prices aligned with organizational objectives.
  4. Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure profitable deals.
  5. Develop reports on key metrics to reduce expenses and enhance efficiency.
  6. Identify reputable vendors and suppliers to foster future partnerships.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations for sourcing.
  8. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to quality assurance of sourced items.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in retail.
  3. Mandatory experience handling Light Household products (home appliances, homeware).
  4. Proficiency in English.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
