About The Job

Assistant Chief Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering.

As Assistant Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Managing all corrective and preventive maintenance work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Reviewing backlog reports, work schedules, preventive maintenance plans, and other reports to ensure efficiency and standards compliance.
• Updating preventive maintenance tasks and schedules considering revised regulations and input from the Engineering Team.
• Establishing key programs in accordance with MOHG standards, including:

1. Central Utility Maintenance with comprehensive PM programs and records.
2. Security system maintenance with regular PM schedules.
3. Fire and life safety equipment maintenance with scheduled checks.
4. Statutory compliance and environmental sustainability adherence.
5. Project and Capex work execution following MOHG standards.

Additional responsibilities include participating in the Emergency Response Team, maintaining records and reports, ensuring cleanliness and safety in engineering areas, proposing operational solutions, and maintaining good relationships with guests and colleagues.
