Contract Driver - Salalah, Oman

We are in need of a reliable and skilled Contract Driver to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Contract Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our company vehicles while providing safe and timely transportation services to our clients. This is a contract position that offers a salary of $1300 per month with visa sponsorship for non-Omani nationals.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of yourself, passengers, and cargo.
3. Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
4. Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately.
5. Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
6. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
7. Follow designated routes or use navigation equipment to reach destinations in a timely manner.
8. Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, assisting with their needs, and answering any questions they may have.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver's license for the country of employment (or ability to obtain one).
2. Clean driving record without any major traffic violations within the past 5 years.
3. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
4. Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
5. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
6. Familiarity with GPS devices and other navigation tools.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if necessary.
