Duruper is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment. The role supports smooth kitchen operations by ensuring proper dishwashing, waste disposal, and compliance with food safety standards.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or commercial kitchen. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required; physical fitness is essential to perform duties

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Physically fit to perform standing, lifting and repetitive cleaning duties.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Responsible attitude toward cleanliness, safety and workplace discipline.

Responsabilités

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen work areas, floors, sinks and dishwashing stations.
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely where applicable.
• Clean kitchen equipment, storage areas, and food preparation surfaces as instructed.
• Collect, segregate and dispose of kitchen waste according to hygiene procedures.
• Ensure clean utensils and equipment are available to kitchen staff when required.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues or shortages of cleaning supplies.
• Assist the kitchen team with general stewarding duties as required.

Job Summary
