Job summary

OMPAY in Muscat is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Linux system management, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments. Candidates should have hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

This role ensures the integrity, availability, and security of systems while improving scalability and performance. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is required, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong background in Linux system management, security, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Implement best practices for security across all systems.
• Deploy and secure containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform.
• Manage and secure cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and OCI.
