Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Chief Projects & Technical Officer (CPTO) to oversee major mining and processing projects in Muscat, Oman. This role mandates strategic and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety, budget, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of experience in mining project delivery and a proven track record in managing large-scale EPC projects, along with strong project finance and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in major mining or industrial project delivery, including at least 7 years in executive or senior leadership roles.
• Proven record in managing large-scale EPC/EPCM projects within mining, metals, or energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of project finance, risk management, and operational readiness principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project delivery strategy and technical governance framework.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility through engineering, execution, and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with standards.
